TV mounting in Houston can mean a Heights bungalow one day and a Downtown loft the next, so before we pick hardware we look at the actual surface the TV will hang on. We show up on time, leave the setup neat, and back our work with a warranty of up to 3 years.

Mounting on Houston walls

The Heights East historic inventory lists Craftsman bungalows, brick bungalows and later houses; Downtown adds converted historic lofts and modern high-rise apartments. None of that tells us what's behind your TV. We check the wall itself before choosing anchors — we don't assume an older house has plaster, or that a Downtown apartment is framed one particular way.

Drywall with no stud at the mounting spot: we use heavy-duty metal snap-toggle anchors, and only for TVs up to 55 inches on a fixed mount (a tilting mount is fine for smaller screens). We don't put a full-motion arm on that setup — its leverage pulls on the drywall. Larger TVs need solid support; if one has to hang where there are no studs, we add wood blocking, which we agree on with you separately. Brick and concrete get masonry anchors; tile gets slow, careful drilling. Wires go inside the wall on drywall; on brick or concrete we use a cord cover. We don't cut into brick or stone just to hide a cable.

What should I include in a Houston Samsung Frame quote?

Send us the screen size, the model and a photo of the wall, and tell us where you'd like the One Connect box to live. We install The Frame and set up the box; the cable route depends on your equipment and the wall, so we settle that layout with you before the visit.

Can you mount two TVs on opposite sides of a Midtown apartment wall?

We can look at both spots in one visit, checking what's behind each mounting point and the size of each TV. Before we come, ask management about drilling and move-out restoration. Policies vary across Houston apartments: Barnett on S Dairy Ashford, for example, allows TV mounting but points residents to its decorating and restoration conditions.

Is above the fireplace a good TV position in my Houston home?

It depends on the fireplace. We look at the type, the mantel and the viewing height. Gas and wood-burning fireplaces give off heat, so we don't go too low — and wood-burning usually calls for the highest position. A pull-down mount helps here: it brings the screen down to eye level when the fireplace is off. The TV's and the fireplace's own instructions matter too.

Can one Houston visit cover stone, brick and Sheetrock walls?

Yes — just tell us about all three when you book so we can plan the visit. We assess each surface and what's behind it separately. On brick, the condition of the brick and the strength of the mortar decide where the anchors go. On the stone and brick, we'll talk through a visible cord cover rather than cutting into the finish — we don't cut into brick or stone just to hide a wire.

I'm moving out in Katy. Can I book just TV removal?

Yes, removal on its own is fine. Let us know whether you'd also like the holes patched — we agree on that separately, based on how much work it takes. If someone else is handling the wall, say so, and the visit covers only the removal.

Does a covered Houston patio protect an indoor TV enough?

Not on its own. A roof doesn't make an indoor TV suitable for Houston's hot, humid summers. Check the manufacturer's limits for moisture, temperature and sunlight — outdoor models carry different sun ratings, too. We don't treat a cover as a stand-in for a screen built for that spot.

How long does TV mounting take?

A standard mount on drywall takes about an hour for most TVs. Hiding the wires inside the wall, mounting on brick or concrete, a soundbar or a very large TV adds time — usually up to 2–3 hours in total. We don't rush the job to squeeze in more appointments, and we tell you the expected time before we start.

What warranty do you offer?

Our installation is covered by a warranty of up to 3 years — it covers both our work and the mount installation. If anything isn't right after the job — even something small, like the TV sitting slightly off level — call us and we'll come back and fix it. If you'd rather not have us come back, we'll make it right another way, for example with a partial refund. Our goal is simple: every customer ends up happy with the result.

Do you offer same-day and weekend installation?

Yes — we work weekends, and same-day visits are often possible. Availability changes from week to week, so call or message our team and we'll find the earliest slot. Our technicians are truly dedicated to the job: if it's urgent, they'll almost always find a way to get to you that day.
