Can you mount a TV in my West Campus rental?
Yes — we install in rentals. Before you book, check your lease or ask management whether drilling is allowed and what has to be restored when you leave; a West Campus address doesn't settle that on its own. Permission is between you and your landlord, and when you move out we can take the TV down for you.
Can you install a TV larger than 70 inches in Greater Austin?
Yes — we mount TVs up to 100 inches. When you book, confirm availability for your address and tell us the screen size, the wall material, and the height you have in mind so we can plan the visit properly. For 98- and 100-inch TVs, we always send two technicians.
Can you take down my TV and patch the holes before I move from Austin 78724?
Yes — we take TVs down and patch the holes. Let us know you need both when you set up the visit; how much patching is involved depends on the number of holes. If your move-out plan also calls for painting or matching an existing wall texture, mention that separately so we agree on exactly what's included.
Does an Austin TV mounting visit include coax to the attic or home network cabling?
Hiding the TV wires and running coax or network cable through a house are two different jobs. If you need the second one, describe it before booking — where the cables start and where they end — so we can agree on the scope. A mounting appointment on its own doesn't cover the whole cabling project.
Can you help with the TV setup for a Shady Hollow home theater?
For the mounting side, yes: we install TVs, soundbars, and shelves for consoles or receivers. Send us the equipment list and confirm availability for your address when you book. If your Shady Hollow project also calls for theater design or whole-house networking, flag that separately so it isn't taken for part of the mounting visit.
Where can I see an AV setup in Austin before arranging installation?
A&B TV lists a showroom on West Anderson Lane; ask the store what's set up to try before you make the trip. Once you've picked your TV and soundbar, share the models when you book with us. If you already own a mount rated for the TV and the wall, we can use it.
Can you hide the TV wires?
Yes. On drywall we hide the cables inside the wall — neatly and safely, so you see only the TV. Where we can't go inside the wall — brick, concrete or exterior walls — we use a slim paintable cord cover that blends into the wall. We don't cut into brick or concrete just to hide a wire. Done our way, it still looks very clean.
How long does TV mounting take?
A standard mount on drywall takes about an hour for most TVs. Hiding the wires inside the wall, mounting on brick or concrete, a soundbar or a very large TV adds time — usually up to 2–3 hours in total. We don't rush the job to squeeze in more appointments, and we tell you the expected time before we start.
I rent or live in a condo — can you still mount my TV?
Yes — we mount TVs in rentals, condos and apartments all the time. Whether drilling is allowed is between you and your landlord or HOA, so if you're not sure, check your lease or building rules before the visit. We work neatly, and when you move out we can also take the TV down for you.
